Siskiyou Cemeteries Online

Welcome to the Siskiyou Cemeteries Online page.  As many of you know, ill health has stopped progress on this page for just over a year.  Recently we requested that anyone who might be interested in taking over and carrying on this site to contact us.  We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the new webmaster for this site, Rhonda Hammer.  In discussing the site, it's history and it's direction, Laura and I are completely satisfied that Rhonda is an excellent choice for bringing life back into this site.  She becomes the sole owner of the site and inherits all the information currently online.  We asked her to write a short biography; more of an introduction; and that is included below.  We hope that each of you will welcome Rhonda and will give her your full support in the years to come.  Rhonda is currently involved with jury duty and she will take a little time to get up to speed but her enthusiasm, skill and talent will soon bring the site back up to it's full potential...and then some.  Laura and I wish to thank all of you for your wonderful support over the years.  We will miss working with each of you.  We wish all of you success in your genealogical searches.  Thank you all.

Steve and Laura Melton

now...please welcome Rhonda...

Hello, I'm Rhonda Hammer and have lived in Siskiyou County for 19 years.  My husband was born and raised here.  I fell in love with the people of Siskiyou County 19 years ago and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.  My goal for the website is to continue the development of it's data sources for Siskiyou County researchers.  I believe this site is a great resource and want to see it expanded even further.  I have been able to glean information on my ancestors from other websites and hope to give something back to the genealogy community at large by expanding this website.  I will be seeking assistance for lookup volunteers for local resources!
